Sha'ab El Erg

Sha'ab El Erg curves like a drawn bow around a turquoise lagoon, and its resident bottlenose dolphins are the reason half the boats from Hurghada and El Gouna point here. Encounters are genuinely wild and never guaranteed: some days the pod rests in the lagoon and passes divers repeatedly on the drop-off, other days it is elsewhere and the site falls back on its own merits - which are real.
