The Aquarium

The Aquarium earns its unimaginative name every single day: coral heads on white sand in knee-to-house depths of glassy lagoon water, mobbed by fish that have learned boats mean interest rather than harm. Butterflyfish, snapper, and juvenile Napoleon wrasse crowd visitors; blacktip reef sharks patrol the sand at a polite distance; moray eels tenant the heads. Operators run first-timers, refresher dives, and snorkel drops here, and the site absorbs the traffic in stride. For divers back from the passes with adrenaline to spare, it is also simply a pleasant place to float and let the lagoon demonstrate its colors.
