Black Hills is Utila's fish magnet: a lone coral hill in open water that everything passing must visit. Circling the summit feels like holding a busy intersection: horse-eye jacks wheel in silver carousels, great barracuda hang nose to current, snapper and grunt schools drape the slopes, and spotted eagle rays climb the up-current face. The site's blue-water position gives it the island's best odds, after the boat rides themselves, of a whale shark ghosting past mid-dive. Navigation is simple (it is a hill), but the surrounding bottomlessness keeps the dive honest.

地形: An isolated coral seamount rising from deep water to within about 12 m of the surface.

保全: An aggregation point that concentrates spawning-size fish; the no-take ethic matters doubly here.
ナイトロックス: ここでは価値があります。エンリッチドエア（ナイトロックス）が無減圧潜水時間を有意に延ばせる範囲にあるスポットです（利用にはトレーニングが必要です）。
