Depth is the range from the top of the site to its usual maximum; "recommended cert" is the mainstream-agency level operators usually ask for, not a legal rule. Currents and visibility change daily — treat everything here as planning ranges.

Off the broad sand of Basdaku, the reef repeats Moalboal's formula, flat, lip, wall, with a gentler personality and one of the coast's easiest entries. Training dives share space with photographers working the coral heads for anemonefish, mantis shrimp, and sweetlips holding under table corals. Turtles commute along the wall's first ten meters, and on its sandy margins garden eels sway in colonies that retract like grass in wind as you approach. Weekends bring local beach crowds topside, but underwater it stays roomy, and night dives here turn up cuttlefish, hunting lionfish, and Spanish dancers.

The moment you come for: Softest entry in town, turtle traffic, dependable night diving

Topography: Sand slope meeting a coral wall

Entry: Sand entry over a short flat, kinder on ankles than Panagsama's rock; also dived by boat.

Know before you splash

Hazards: Banca traffic on busy days; occasional surge over the flat.

Conservation: Popular with non-diving beachgoers; boats and swimmers share the shallows, so surface carefully.
