Asho's Gap is Coral Bay's most dependable appointment: a cleaning station where reef mantas bank in slow circuits while cleaner wrasse work their undersides, and grey reef sharks queue for the same service. The drill is simple and strict, settle low and to the side, keep off the station, and let the animals fly the pattern. Even without mantas the gap earns its keep with turtles, sweetlips, and coral heads in easy depth, but when a manta shadow slides overhead in ten meters of water the site explains why Coral Bay guards its reputation so carefully.
