Tanjung Kopi

Tanjung Kopi, the Coffee Point on Manado Tua's flank, is the park's schooling-fish dive. When the tide presses the point, chevron barracuda gather in a slow silver cylinder off the wall, jacks wheel beneath them, and sweetlips pack the coral heads in overlapping rows. The old volcano's slope gives the site a different scale from Bunaken island's walls, with the cone rising green above the boat and dropping steeply below it. Currents demand some competence and occasionally cancel the plan entirely, which keeps crowds thin. Between the big schools, guides point out nudibranchs and shrimp on the rubble shoulder, but nobody remembers those afterward; they remember standing inside the barracuda clock.
