Cavern dalışı, bir girişin yakınında gün ışığının göründüğü sınır içinde kalır. Cave dalışı bunun ötesine geçer; yüzeye doğrudan çıkış yoktur ve uzman eğitimi gerektirir. Buradaki her sistem, survey verilerini, erişim kurallarını ve bunların dayandığı kaynakları içerir.
